ZAGREB, March 14 (Hina) - Slovene Ambassador to Croatia, Bostjan Kovacic, on Tuesday handed an invitation to the president of the Croatian National Parliament, Zlatko Tomcic, to attend a meeting of parliament presidents of 12
countries-candidates for membership in the European Union which will take place in April. Croatian and Slovene parliamentary delegations will hold talks in Ljubljana on this occasion, the Parliament's public relations office said Tuesday. Tomcic also received the Finnish Ambassador to Croatia, Osmo Lipponnen, who conveyed an invitation by the Finnish Parliament speaker for Tomcic to visit in October. As there have recently been constitutional changes in Finland, the possibility of parliamentary cooperation was discussed so experiences in this area could be exchanged.
