The ministry made this statement in response to "incorrect and blanket reactions" by some commentators after the Croatian government earlier on Friday published documentation pertaining to the negotiating process.
As of Friday, Croatian citizens can go through all policy areas Croatia has negotiated with the European Union, which are available on the government's web site and the web site of the foreign ministry, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said at a news conference earlier in the day.
All 35 negotiating areas, of which the last four were closed on Thursday evening, are available at www.vlada.hr and www.mvpei.hr.
The ministry notes that the European Union's negotiating positions cannot be published by the Croatian government as they belong to member states and it is necessary to ask EU institutions to approve their possible publication.
Terms and conditions for Croatia's admission to the EU will be specified in the accession treaty which is being elaborated by legal experts from Croatia and the EU and the elaboration of which is expected this autumn, the ministry said.
