ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - Budgetary revenues in the period between January and September amounted to 34.5 billion kuna, while expenditures amounted to 39.9 billion, with a deficit totalling 5.4 billion, the Finance Ministry said on
Friday. If contributions for pension insurance are subtracted, the revenues amount to 31.18 billion, which is 5.7 percent less than at the same time last year. This difference is the result of significant privatisation earnings made in 2000. Planned revenues from privatisation for this year have not been realised yet. Income after tax amounts to 29.58 billion kuna, a 2.1 percent increase as against the first nine months of last year, the result of higher revenues made from Value Added Tax. Budgetary expenditure in said period was 8.7 percent higher than in 2000.($1 = 8.4 kuna)(hina) ha
