ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - Some four hundred members of the Croatian oil company INA unions on Tuesday held a rally in protest of separating the Technical Services Sector into a separate company, which has been planned and decided by the
INA Supervisory Board as part of restructuring the company. Three INA trade unions are demanding that the separation be postponed for at least a year, that conditions for profitable business of the newly established company be created, and that a social clause by which salaries and other material rights of 1,600 employees would remain at the level of all INA employees. The peaceful rally was held in front of the INA building and lasted an hour. The protesters had to find a generator to make the loudspeaker work, since the company management refused to plug it in in the building.(hina) lml
