OPATIJA, Sept 27 (Hina) - The European Network of Election Monitoring Organisations (ENEMO) held its founding session under the auspices of the Croatian Foreign Ministry in Opatija on Thursday. Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said in
his address Croatia wanted to contribute to the establishment of democratic standards in other countries as well and was actively joining in election monitoring in some countries as an OSCE member. Attending the ENEMO founding session, which was organised by the civic association GONG, were non-government organisations from Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Ukraine, Slovakia, Albania, Belorussia and Croatia.
