ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula supported efforts aimed at preserving Macedonia's integrity during talks with Macedonian Defence Minister Vlado Buckovski in Zagreb on Friday. The two ministers agreed
one of the key prerequisites for long-term stability was respect for internationally recognised borders, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Picula supported the current Macedonian government and its efforts to preserve the country's unity securing at the same time respect for international standards in the area of human and minority rights protection. The two ministers also discussed the stabilisation and association process and cooperation in fighting international terrorism, particularly in the light of last week's tragic events in the United States.(hina) rml
