ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - During his official visit to New Zealand, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula suggested his country become New Zealand's entry zone for central, south-eastern and western European markets. The idea was
received well. The foreign minister spoke with his New Zealand counterpart Phil Goff, and held an informal meeting with Prime Minister Helen Clark. As the Croatian Ministry reported, the talks were described as a significant step in promoting the relations between the two countries. During official talks with the Croatian minister, the New Zealand delegation voiced readiness to sign a bilateral social insurance agreement. The issue was previously presented to Australian Croats, and was agreed on. Croats who earned their pensions in Australia will thus be able to realise them in Croatia if they leave Australia for their homeland permanently.
