ZAGREB, Sept 20 (Hina) - The person whose extradition to Croatia was announced Thursday by the Bosnian Muslim-Croat Federation could be Abdulah Essindar a.k.a. Hasan al Sharif, a suspect in a Rijeka car-bomb terrorist attack six years
ago. One of the terrorists was killed, two people seriously wounded, and 20 people injured in the explosion of the car-bomb in front of the Rijeka police headquarters on October 20, 1995. Egyptian terrorist organisation Al Gam'a Al Islamia claimed responsibility for the attack the next day, saying it was an act of vengeance for the disappearance of its high-ranking member Abu Tallal. Abdulah Essindar had been arrested on July 12 for illegally obtaining Bosnian citizenship, and it was later established he was wanted by Interpol on suspicion of terrorist connections.
