"No country, nobody anywhere deserves such madness," Croatian People's Party (HNS) press release stated. HNS fears the terrorist attack on innocent victims in the US represents "the day when the future of the world and civilisation as we know it irrevocably and violently turned into another, completely unknown direction." Croatian Democratic Action Party (SDA) joined in condemning the attacks and offering condolences to the American people. Military ordinary Juraj Jezerinac and head vicar of the Military ordinariat Josko Santic sent their condolences to the American military archbishop Edwin Frederick O'Brien, Catholic news agency Ika reported Wednesday. Ika also announced there will be a prayer held for the victims of the attack. Among numerous associations and individuals offering their condolences to the US Ambassador to Croatia Lawrence Rossin, was the Croatian Journalists' Association. (hina) js
