KARLOVAC, Sept 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic attended a demonstration of anti-mine action and mine removal aided by a remote-control operated de-mining machine developed in Croatia, as well as the dogs trained for that
purpose, in Karlovac on Thursday. Around 4,000 kilometres of land in Croatia are suspected to be mine-infested, and it is estimated around 500 square kilometres are infested with approximately a million unexploded devices.
