KNIN, Aug 10 (Hina) - Sibenik-Knin County prefect Gordan Baraka on Friday mobilised county civil protection firefighting units that left this morning to help put out a wildfire in Surdup valley on Pljesivica mountain that has been
blazing for ten days despite efforts of land and air firefighting forces. Over 150 firemen, as well as 50 members of a special firefighting interior ministry unit from Sibenik and Divulje, Canadair aircraft and firefighting helicopters have joined efforts to extinguish the fire in the central Adriatic hinterland.
