ZADAR, July 11 (Hina) - A 34-year-old Croatian Serb, suspected of a war crime against civilians in a village in the southern Obrovac municipality in 1992, was taken to the Zadar County Court investigating centre on Wednesday. Skoric
was arrested yesterday on the eastern Croatian border crossing of Bajakovo while he was aboard a bus travelling between Zagreb and Belgrade. The Zadar County Court has launched an investigation against Skoric and three other Serbs due to the suspicion that they committed war crimes against civilians in the village of Medvidja. A member of rebel Croatian Serb police forces, Skoric and the three other Serbs are suspected of having killed a Croat couple from Medvidja in February 1992. After the murder, they set the couple's house on fire and took away their sheep flock.(hina) rml
