Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski will meet the leaders of
Macedonian parliamentary political parties on Wednesday.
According to unofficial announcements, Leotard and Pardew will
also be present at the meeting.
Defence Ministry spokesman Marjan Djurovski told a news conference
a cease-fire was jeopardised after the discontinuation of
political dialogue and armed attacks launched by Albanian
extremists. Despite the efforts of Macedonian security forces,
peace is hardly sustainable due to constant terrorist attacks,
Djurovski said.
Macedonian Army spokesman Blagoja Markovski reported on continuous
movements and entrenchments of Albanian extremists in all crisis
areas, with occasional gunfire from infantry weapons. Macedonian
forces will, in the future, respond to all provocations and
Albanian terrorists' approaches to 200 metres from the army
positions, Markovski said.
