After Thursday's session of the government, Prime Minister Ivica
Racan said the agreement envisaged Slovenia's access to the open
sea through Croatia's territorial waters at the Bay of Piran. He
added that he could not comment on details such as maps until the
agreement was signed.
After Wednesday's session of the parliament's foreign affairs
committee, PM Racan was not very optimistic about the possible
reaction of the Sabor to the deal. He said a climate was not
favourable for the ratification of the border agreement.
