ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament began Wednesday's session by paying respect to the victims of the Belgrade parliament 20 June 1928 assassination. Among them was the founder of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), Stjepan
Radic. In the working part of the session, MPs unanimously ratified a defence cooperation agreement between the Croatian and Italian governments. Parliament unanimously adopted a report on the work of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences. Reports on the work of the Croatian Radio/Television (HRT) management and the HRT Council were adopted with a majority vote. Morning voting is a new practice introduced by parliament's presidency to avoid stalling in the voting process due to lack of quorum.
