MOSTAR, July 17 (Hina) - A Bosniak and a Croat customs office in the southern Bosnian city of Mostar have become part of a single customs administration, which will facilitate the collection of taxes, it was stated at a meeting of
senior customs officials of the Croat-Muslim Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Mostar authorities on Tuesday. Federation Customs Administration director Slavko Sikiric and his deputy Hasib Salkic said the unification of the Mostar customs administration marked the end of a process of unification of the federal customs system, which, they said, will result in a 30-percent increase in collected taxes. The unification of the customs administration in the Federation creates conditions for the establishment of a single customs system on the state level, as provided for by the Dayton peace agreement, they said.(hina) rml
