PRISTINA, June 11 (Hina) - At least 12,000 refugees from Macedonia have arrived in Kosovo seeking accommodation over the last three days, a UNHCR spokesperson said in Pristina on Monday. Spokeswoman Astrid van Genderen Stort said the
refugees were mostly children, women and elderly people from Skoplje and the surrounding area. Most of them have found accommodation in their relatives' homes. The UNHCR spokeswoman said the refugees were frightened and traumatised. More than 35,000 refugees have fled Macedonia for Kosovo since the beginning of unrest in Macedonia.(hina) rml
