PRISTINA, May 14 (Hina) - A refugee wave from Macedonia toward the southern Yugoslav province of Kosovo continued over the weekend, spokeswoman of the UNHCR in Pristina said on Monday. Over the past two days, another 250 refugees
arrived from Macedonia. The majority of refugees has no identification documents spokeswoman Astrid van Genderen Stort said and called upon the governmental authorities not to prevent refugees without identification documents from entering Kosovo. According to Stort, about 9,000 refugees have arrived in Kosovo since May 3, while the total number of refugees who have arrived from Macedonia since February amounts to 17,000.
