ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Wednesday received an Istrian County delegation after the county received the ISO 9001 (2000) award, according to international standards, for managment. Prefect Stevo Zufic
said the county received the award for the implementation of the quality standard. Istria County is the only public administration in Croatia which received the award and is functioning in line with the ISO standard, Zufic stressed. According to him, Istria County already received a certificate from the Croatian Association of Employers (HUP) for being economically the most successful county in Croatia last year. Zufic added voters were able to recognise this and the Istrian Democratic Assembly received 28 of 41 seats in the County Assembly.(hina) it sb
