The union organised today's strike as a sign of protest against an Education and Sports Ministry decision about the cancelling of a scheduled beginning of collective negotiations with this, most numerous, school union. The negotiations have failed because Deputy Education and Sports Minister Ivan Vavra, refused to only hold the talks with the one union after two smaller ones requested to be accepted in the negotiation union committee.
