MOSTAR, April 12 (Hina) - Defence lawyers of four Bosnian Croats, accused of war crimes they committed against Bosniak (Muslim) prisoners of war and civilians in the southern city of Mostar, on Thursday asked that their clients should
be acquitted. The attorneys claimed that the trial did not prove any count with which their clients were charged. Four Croats are charged with the murder of 12 prisoners of war who were members of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina and with the murder of 12 civilians. They are also indicted of physical harassment. The five-member court chamber in Mostar will deliver the verdict next week.(hina) ms
