PULA, Jan 23 (Hina) - Pursuant to a court hearing Tuesday night the director of Pula's gas company, Igor Tomisic, has been retained in 48-hour custody for founded suspicion of having committed a crime of endangering life and property.
County state attorney Vlatko Nuic told Hina his office must file a request for an enquiry within 48 hours and move for a custody extension due to a possible suspect's influencing witnesses. Gas which found its way through a leak in the gas line into the town sewerage caused an explosion last Friday which injured six people and damaged several dozen vehicles.(hina) lml
