PULA CAUSED BY GAS LEAK PULA, Jan. 22 (Hina) - A police investigation found last Friday's explosion injuring six people in Pula was caused by the leaking of gas at two locations in the town. Gas leaked from two holes in the city pipe
line, one being ten centimetres and the other two millimetres wide. According to a police report the gas found its way through an old sewerage system, which is no longer in use, as well as other porous channels, filling the sewerage system. In contact with air the gas became explosive. A criminal investigation establishing liability for the incident is under way.
