PULA BLAST: GAS LEAKED AT TWO SPOTS PULA, Jan 21 (Hina) - Investigating into causes of a gas underground explosion which rocked downtown Pula on Friday, police experts have established that there were two check-points with a great
amount of gas leaking from the municipal gas pipeline. Deputy state prosecutor in Istria County, Bruno Ivinic, told reporters on Sunday that the experts believed there had been more such points, judging from the strength of the blast which occurred in the sewerage system. One man sustained serious injuries and another ten citizens were lightly hurt, while scores of cars were damaged in that explosion which shook the downtown Pula on Friday afternoon. The sewerage system and the local street were also devastated. On Sunday, the municipal public utilities company started cleaning the street and reconstructed the manholes.
