the wake of yesterday's gas underground explosion which rocked downtown Pula. The session was attended by European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic, who conveyed the willingness of the government and state institutions to help Pula deal with the consequences of the huge damage. The county state prosecutor's office said an on-the-spot investigation was still in course, and that it would establish if the explosion occurred "because of the human factor." It has been announced the county police department might hold an extraordinary press conference on Sunday.
