ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - The Croatian government will soon discuss the overall course of the normalisation of relations with Yugoslavia and possibilities of re-defining the visa regime, Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Monday. At its
Thursday's session, which is probably the last this year, the government was informed about negotiations on a free trade agreement with Yugoslavia. The agreement was initialled in early November and will be signed on Monday, December 23, in Belgrade. The agreement will become effective after being ratified by both countries' parliaments. Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic said the agreement foresaw the liberalisation of trade, that is the cancellation of customs duties and tariffs on the majority of industrial products, excluding the most sensitive products for which customs duties would be reduced gradually within five years.
