The draft national programme to access the EU will be the basis to
evaluate Croatia's readiness to access the EU.
The head of the IMF mission to Croatia, Hans Flickenschild, on
Tuesday announced that an agreement had been reached with the
Croatian government about a new stand by arrangement.
The government could as early as Thursday discuss the draft
memorandum on the economic and financial policies between the
Croatian government and the IMF.
Both documents should be forwarded to parliament that will more
than probably convene an extraordinary session to discuss the
documents, most likely next week.
