The government said in a statement that it had informed social
partners - unions and employers - of all important documents and
that negotiations on amendments to the Labour Act would resume in
early 2003.
The government is conducting the economic and social policy
independently and responsibly, based on a document adopted in
parliament, the government said in the statement, adding that the
social partners were informed of the document before it was
adopted.
