Some 40 workers, who are blocking the company since the beginning of
November, are also requesting that former director Leon Sulic and
his family be forbidden from further managing shares which they
acquired illegally.
The president of the New Union, Mario Ivekovic, told reporters
today that the German justice system had started proceedings
against responsible persons in the company because its buses drove
across Germany with counterfeit registration plates and
documents.
"We expect an international arrest warrant to be issued against
Sulic soon, because Germany cares for the safety of its citizens,"
Ivekovic said.
The chief commissioner of the Federation of Independent Trade
Unions of Croatia, Damir Gasparovic, said that according to as yet
unconfirmed information, the protesters would once again be
removed.
However, this attempt to unblock the entrance to the company will
end as all previous attempts, when the protesters allowed the
police to remove the buses which were blocking the entrance without
resistance, but after the police left they drove the buses right
back, he said.
