The drivers' union wonders how come that the rule-of law could allow
that "some 30 rebels" are hindering the work of 350 people who want
to earn their salaries by their work.
According to the letter, protesters, who insist on the replacement
of the current management of the company, are backed by "people from
the political leadership". The protesters accuse the former CEO,
Leon Sulic, of wrongdoing while he led the company.
The union, which supports the managing board, asserts that persons,
whom it did not name, "want to cause disorder, send 400 people to the
Employment Bureau and buy the company for one kuna."
Premier Racan on Tuesday received the representatives of New Union
and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (SSSH) on
behalf of 40 protesters who have been blocking the main entrance to
"Croatia Bus" since 5 November, insisting on the establishment of a
new management in the company.
The incumbent managing board asserts that the majority of "Croatia
Bus" employees are satisfied with the situation in the company and
labels the protesters as "rebels" accusing them of causing great
damage to the company in a bid to push it the bankruptcy procedure.
