"Perhaps the Croatian Privatisation Fund will combine care for the
entire state property, including the Fund's portfolio, under
another name," said Tomcic. The government would thus be in direct
charge of 22 companies entirely owned by the state.
Doubts as to the new law on state radio and television have not been
entirely cleared up today, said Tomcic.
He added the meeting did not discuss Sisak's Ironworks, or a
government-sponsored bill on one-off property taxation, which has
met with harsh criticism among parliament bodies.
The ruling coalition leaders only briefly addressed the
appointment of several deputy ministers, Tomcic said, adding that
personnel would be addressed at their next meeting.
