Tomcic and Veer supported efforts aimed at the establishment of
bilateral parliamentary cooperation and the enhancement of the
bilateral economic ties.
Veer said a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) which
Zagreb and the European Union concluded, had so far been ratified by
both houses of the Dutch parliament and was now in the further
procedure stipulated for all important bilateral treaties before
the Dutch government notified Brussels of their ratification.
The Dutch diplomat voiced hope that Croatia would soon solve
problems concerning the ICTY's indictment against retired General
Janko Bobetko.
Tomcic informed him that the government had forwarded the entire
Bobetko case to the competent court.
