The Serb students forwarded an open letter, signed by the Student
Council, to the principle of the Vukovar High School demanding that
firms guarantees be given to them and their parents that room would
be made for them in the remodelled building of the Vukovar High
School or in some other appropriate building.
"Until then, we are forced to fight for more appropriate education
conditions in such an unpopular way", Serb high school students
said, calling on the media to help them realise their demands.
The chairman of the Joint Council of Eastern Croatian Serb-
Dominated Municipalities, Jovan Ajdukovic, supported the students
attending the Vukovar High School in Serbian and their parents.
