ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - Workers of the "Naprijed" textile company, which is in bankruptcy, on Thursday ended their strike after a committee of creditors decided that their years of service should be recognised and that they had a
right to severance pay.

All 380 employees also received new work contracts for November.
"Naprijed" employees began protesting on Tuesday following an
announcement by the trustee in bankruptcy that 137 workers would be
dismissed without severance pay on November 1 due to lack of new
business contracts, while the rest would be offered month-long
contracts until the completion of agreed jobs.
