PRISTINA, Nov 4 (Hina) - The inclusion of Kosovo in the preamble of the Constitutional Charter of Serbia and Montenegro as part of Serbia has caused fierce reactions by Kosovo Albanian political institutions and parties which demanded that the UN mission in the province and international community take adequate measures. #L# The Kosovo institutions on Monday requested the UN Mission in the province to react to the Constitutional Charter. Kosovo Parliament President Nexhat Daci stated that the UNMIK should react to Kosovo being included in the charter, and stressed that no one could make decisions on behalf of the Albanians. A high ranking UNMIK official stated that during his current visit to Brussels the UN Civil Administrator to Kosovo, Michael Steiner, would discuss the matter with the EU's High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana. Three leading Kosovo Albanian parties - the Kosovo Democratic Alliance, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Alliance for Kosovo's Future have warned that Kosovo's inclusion in the charter's preamble could have serious consequences. The representative of the Serb coalition "Povratak" in the Kosovo parliament, Oliver Ivanovic, stated that Belgrade did not need to seek anyone's permission with regard "to its own territory".
