ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Hina) - As of next Monday, the doctors' team monitoring the condition of Janko Bobetko will be issuing statements about the general's condition in order to prevent "minor misinformation that has been published in the press", said Dr. Berislav Radic, a member on the team. #L# Radic would not identify the media which published misinformation. Bobetko's personal physician, Dr. Mijo Bergovec, told reporters after visiting him today that he was in contact with the general all the time and would visit him once more today if necessary. Bergovec could not say how long Bobetko could be treated out of hospital. Dr. Radic said that Bobetko's heart electrostimulator was functioning well and that it was a device which improved his heart functions, but could not cure all diseases the general was suffering from. Radic confirmed that he had adjusted the device today and two days ago. A number of fellow fighters and friends visited the 83-year-old general today. Among them were also officials from the southern municipality of Podbablje, who handed Bobetko an honorary citizen charter for his contribution to Croatia's defence. A dozen members of war veterans' associations could be seen near Bobetko's house today as well. (hina) rml
