"This is a direct attack on the UN Security Council Resolution 1244
and on the international community's engagement in Kosovo, and this
is an attack on the legitimate and legal representatives of
Kosovo," said the DUA representative, Ferhat Dinosa.
"There is no commission which can discuss Kosovo without the
international community," he added.
Dinosa said the existing commission's task was not to define the
status of Kosovo but to regulate the relations between Serbia and
Montenegro. After that it could be seen how in the coming period the
status of Kosovo might be defined and Serbia's attitude to the
matter, he added.
Dinosa said another two members of the Constitutional Commission,
representatives of Montenegrin parties: the Liberal Alliance (LS)
and the Social Democrat Party (SDP) - also voted against such text
of the preamble.
