Police arrested the group at 9am and transferred them to a police
station for questioning.
Zagreb police spokeswoman Stanka Saraja said that at this time she
could not say how many people had been arrested, what their national
background was, nor from which country they had arrived in
Croatia.
"An investigation is underway and at this time we can only confirm
that they are illegal aliens," she said.
Police also refused to say how many people had been apprehended.
