According to a statement released by the Sabor's public relations
office after their meeting, Trconic called on the international
community to respect the sensitivity of Croatian citizens in
relation to Staff General Janko Bobetko whom they see as a symbol of
the Homeland Defence War.
Asked whether the Croatian parliament would take another move with
regard to "the Bobetko case", Trconic answered that the procedure
in the parliament had been wrapped up regarding the ICTY's
indictment against the Croatian general.
Trconic and Unfraidh discussed a constitutional bill on national
minorities, which should soon be adopted, and refugee returns.
Trconic informed his interlocutor of the government's important
tasks such as privatisation and reform in the judiciary.
