The compromise was reached after MPs discussed all the morning
whether they could vote on changes of the law if the money had not
been secured in the budget for the alterations.
The amendments envisage that 100-hundred-percent disabled war
veterans can use the benefit for the domiciliary treatment
regardless of the fact whether they use that possibility.
Invalids will thus receive pensions worth 8,598 kuna (1177 euros)
as against their current monthly pension of 6,326 kuna (EUR866).
Therefore, about 20 million kuna (EUR2.7 million) should be
allocated from the budget for this purpose.
