By doing so, the State Border Service, which consists of 20 units,
has taken control of the entire state border, which is some 1,500
kilometres long.
High Representative Paddy Ashdown said at a ceremony in Strmica
this was one of the most important events for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Ashdown said that the state of Bosnia-Herzegovina was being built
little by little, increasingly successfully, and the establishment
of the State Border Service was one of the most important successes
for the country's future.
