"It is a big question if the Croatian parliament at this moment
would be able to get a two-thirds majority vote for any kind of
solution, including arbitration," Drnovsek told reporters.
He said that following his talks with Croatian Prime Minister Ivica
Racan in Zagreb yesterday, the situation between the two countries,
for which he said "Slovenia is not to blame", had been defused.
Racan and Drnovsek yesterday agreed on a temporary fishing regime
in Piran Bay which will not prejudge the future border on sea
between Croatia and Slovenia. The agreement will be valid for three
months.
