released on Friday. #L#
Joras was released on parole. If he fails to pay misdemeanour fines
he will have to be put in jail again, the head of the Justice
Ministry's Prison System Management, Josip Hehet, told Hina.
Joras was released after having served half of his 30-day prison
sentence. His release was the result of his medical condition,
which has deteriorated due to a two-week hunger strike.
Journalists waiting for Joras to come out of the prison hospital
talked with two members of the Slovene-Croatian Friendship
Society, who had visited Joras.
According to them, Joras said that in the future he would respect
all decisions Croatian and Slovene politicians agreed on, i.e. that
he would refrain from causing incidents.
