LJUBLJANA, June 13 (Hina) - An agreement on the Krsko nuclear power plant is important for Slovenia and Slovene officials expect the agreement to be ratified in parliament, the president of the Liberal Democratic Party bench (the strongest party of Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek's coalition), Tone Andrelic told Slovene television on Wednesday. #L# Andrelic, however, said that it was not certain that the Opposition, which opposes the agreement's ratification, would manage to gather the necessary 30 of 90 parliamentary votes and forward the law on the ratification to the Constitutional Court to deliver a verdict. "This is one of the things which could slow down the ratification, but we expect talks which would show that there are enough arguments for the ratification of the Krsko agreement to take place next week," Andrelic said. Opposition representative Andrej Vizjak of the Social Democrats said that the Krsko agreement was an obvious example of the imposition of political will. (hina) it
