The ratification of the agreement on Krsko and its inclusion into
the June parliamentary sitting was endorsed by the Liberal
Democrats (LDS) of Janez Drnovsek and the Joint List (ZLDS) of Borut
Pahor, while the Opposition voted against.
The Slovene government's state secretary for the power sector,
Robert Golob, said in a special statement for Slovene Radio he
believed Slovenia should ratify the Krsko agreement first, without
waiting for the Croatian parliament to do it, and after that offer
to buy Croatia's share in the plant.
