ZAGREB, June 12 (Hina) - June 20 remains the deadline for the registration of voters to participate in this year's election in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to be held in October, which could mean that only five percent of Bosnian Croat
refugees who fled to Croatia and other countries would take part in the vote, it was said at a meeting of representatives of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Electoral Commission and Bosnian refugee associations in Croatia, held in Zagreb on Wednesday.

Representatives of most Bosnian Croat refugee associations demand
that the deadline for the registration of some 80,000 refugees be
prolonged for at least ten days so that refugees in Croatia could
obtain information about the elections. Judging by the
registration process, only five percent of Bosnian Croat refugees
in Croatia could go to the polls.
The BH Electoral Commission is adamant that the deadline for voter
registration will not be changed. It has called on all Croat refugee
associations to do all they can so that as many Croats as possible
participate in the elections.
