Tuesday evening arrived in Washington where he will hold talks with
US senior officials, heads of international organisations and

A Croatian delegation to the US also includes Foreign Minister
Tonino Picula.
On Thursday Racan will hold talks with US President's advisor for
national security Condoleezza Rice. He will briefly meet US
President George W. Bush in the White House.
Later in the day, the Croatian prime minister will hold talks with
US Secretary of State Colin Powell.
The Croatian delegation will hold talks with officials of the US
national security council and the State Department. They are also
expected to meet several members of the US Congress.
According to the announcement, the Croatian delegation will hold
talks with senior officials of the US departments of trade, justice
and defence.
Racan and his associates will also meet US businessmen, the
leadership of the business council and officials of the US chamber
of trade. They are expected to meet the director of the Exim bank,
Eduardo Aguire, World Bank officials and representatives of
Croatian Americans.
On the last day of his visit to the United States, June 12, Racan
will meet UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and the chairman of the UN
General Assembly, Hang Seung-so.
