The talks were held on the margins of a Zagreb conference of
European parliamentary assembly presidents.
Racan and Micunovic commended the progress achieved in the
normalisation of Croatian-Yugoslav relations, especially
economic cooperation.
Discussing state borders, the two officials agreed negotiations on
the matter were constructive and headed in a positive direction.
Racan and Micunovic also discussed the liberalisation of the visa
regime, expected in the near future, refugee returns, and the
protection of minority rights.
Croatia is open for all forms of cooperation, although cautious
after the wounds from the recent past, said Racan.
