LJUBLJANA, May 9 (Hina) - An additional protocol number 1 to a Free Trade Agreement between Croatia and Slovenia, which changes the current Free Trade Agreement between the two countries regarding agricultural products' trade, was
signed in Ljubljana on Thursday.
LJUBLJANA, May 9 (Hina) - An additional protocol number 1 to a Free
Trade Agreement between Croatia and Slovenia, which changes the
current Free Trade Agreement between the two countries regarding
agricultural products' trade, was signed in Ljubljana on

The protocol enables better liberalisation of agricultural
products' trade between the two countries. The additional protocol
will temporarily become effective on July 1, 2002.
The latest amendments to the Free Trade agreement introduce list A
which includes the complete abolishment of customs tariffs for
Croatian and Slovene products. The list also includes some
significant products for Croatia such as fish, tangerines,
cookies, candy and cattle food.
List B foresees lower import customs tariffs for both Croatian and
Slovene products. The list includes some particularly important
products for Croatia, such as wheat, soups, meat cans.
Lists C and D foresees a certain number of products with a lower
tariff rates for both Croatia and Slovene products.
