The bill is related to amendments to laws on income tax, pension and
health insurance, which were forwarded to parliament after today's
government session. They should become effective on July 1.
Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac said the package of laws aimed at
preventing the unemployed from working illegally, as it is the case
with many employed who take additional jobs.
The new system should prevent the current practice in line with
which people who have been employed on author's fee royalties for
their entire life end up without a pension, Crkvenac said. He added
the package of laws should also reduce the number of the
unemployed.
